WII FIT // W-W-WORK OUT.

So yesterday I got back on the Wii Fit after three days ignoring it as I've just been too busy with revision, but getting back on it yesterday was so liberating. I worked out for a mere 45 minutes doing core, tummy, and arm workouts, with stretches, and 10 minute jogging. For fitness buffs, you're going to think 'that's pathetic!', but c'mon, we all have to start somewhere, and since I haven't done 'proper' exercise for at least 3 years. Things happened, and I just stopped doing major exercise. So, now that my health is so much better, and I feel like 'me' again for the first time in over 2 years, I feel happy, confident and alive, I suddenly had an urge to buy the Wii Fit Plus to work out, and I have been loving it. I'm not going to tell you my weight, or what I'm losing weekly, but once I've reached my goal, I'll do a blog post on it. If people read it and think 'Damn, you're heavy' then you know what? That's fine. So long as I feel healthy, and look in the mirror and feel happy, that's all that matters, and I know the limit range of my weight be it low or high, I know what is achievable, since I do have a naturally shapely figure, I'm an hourglass with a very small waist, bigger bust and bigger hips. That's just me. That's how I'm made! ;)

So, why not try out Wii Fit if you have a Nintendo Wii?

ANOTHER NEW BANNER? // NEW VIDEO DUE TODAY!

At last, a video with absolutely perfect lighting. If I do say so myself, I am so excited for you to see this video guys. It's not an OOTW video yet, but it's a decently lit video using natural lighting, and I can't wait for you to see it.
Do you like the new banner here? I got bored yesterday and decided a minor redesign was on the cards, and this is the result!

Oh such a flattering thumbnail....

Just overwhelmingly excitable today, so I'll keep this one short in preamp for the new video!

SS/14 WHAT HAS IT BROUGHT SO FAR? // AN INSIGHT INTO THIS YEAR'S TRENDS.

This is a bit of a different post for me, so if you prefer my usual way of blogging, don't worry, it'll be over after this post. I just want to explore SS14 with you.

Ok, so we all know that with the new year came new trends, and new head turners. Burberry launched their SS14 Pastels range, which had everyone's jaws dropping, and Bleach London brought out semi permanent dyes for home use that made pastel locks more achieveable.

But what do you predict is the new year's gift to us fashion lovers? I know what I wish would suddenly make it's debut loud and clear: ocean prints. You know the type, the ones you see in spherical frames up on Tumblr making the world a brighter place.
I'm talking flowing aqua maxi dresses with corals and tropical fish, the kind of print that would make you glower with envy if the girl next to you was wearing it before you. That sort of print. Like this one, that I'm wearing today, and of course, Beyonce is modelling:

This print is genuinely beautiful, and I adore wearing this dress daily, but it's one in a million, and seeing another print similar, like this River Island one available on the market would be wonderful.

Beautiful isn't it?

Are you loving what 2014 has to offer so far? Why not comment below telling me your favourite trend that 2014 has had to offer?

SUNSHINE IN THE GARDEN // ERAGON, THE SEASON OF READING.

Longest title ever? Oh what a beautiful day again! Eragon arrived, and I'm seriously enjoying reading it. To this day, I'm amazed that people actually are reading my blog. I primarily started it to express my fascination with fashion, which I will return to soon enough, but what with being a full time college student, I just don't get the time to do OOTDs, and photos of clothes, I get home and it's dark already, but what with the summer coming soon enough, I'll hopefully be getting more OOTD posts up.
I just wanted to make you aware of Eragon if you haven't read it. It's charming, and light to read, and really helps escape from the world for as long as you wish to read it. I guess it's nice to do that, since sometimes life can get a little heavy, and having a literal escape route is not always an option, but curling up with a good book is. If you're not  a book fan, take it from me, I used to read non-stop (Sophie Kinsella, Ali Mc Namara) but those days quickly and abruptly ended with college exams etc, and life getting a bit more grown up, and the books were the last things on my mind. Every time I picked them up, my brain would blur each word into one, and I'd read the same sentence over and over again and it still wouldn't be absorbed, that worked the same way for my college book reading too, my brain just couldn't absorb any information. Something more recently has turned that around, and I believe it is my good health to thank partially, since I have thus far, for 2014 been blessed with the best health I've had since before my grandma died in 2011, which quite frankly, to me, is a miracle. Maybe sometime I'll tell you that story, but that's a bit dark for today, and still quite fresh, so I'd rather not just at the moment. Maybe when we get to know each other a little better perhaps?

My face isn't feeling like showing itself today, so have a sort of OOTD, my thigh to be precise! Jack Wills skinny sweatpants are a girl's best friend when she can't be bothered to doll up.

Model's Own 'Utopia' Nail polish and Eragon by Christopher Paolini.
Jack Wills hoodie.

But anyway, if you have no work to do today, why not set yourself up in the sunshine somewhere and read a good book. I certainly will be, and maybe purchase yourself a copy of Eragon? The paperback used on amazon is only £0.01p, plus £2.80 postage, so it's a very small price. The others in the series of four are also similar prices except for the final book, Inheritance which is still fairly new, and as a result is still priced 'normally'.

Eragon by Christopher Paolini. My well loved copy.

Have a beautiful day everyone, and remember, smile and the world smiles with you.

LIGHTING DILEMMAS // I BOUGHT A NINTENDO WII?!

Ok, so as you guys probably know, ocassionally I have to write a very random blog post. It's just in my character to do so, and this post is one of those posts, so if you don't fancy a random one, you can just skip this one until the next.

To get straight to the main focus of this post is that I'm kicking myself for not currently having the funding to buy some 'proper' lighting for my YoutTube videos. If you film videos, or know photography, then you'll know that the focus is heavily affected by how good or poor the lighting is. So basically, I'm desperate to invest in some incredible artificial lighting, but right now, I'm low on funds because.... I just bought a Nintendo Wii?! (I did warn you this is a very random post.)

I know, why did I buy a wii? Well, I, like many people are very particular about exercise. I don't particularly love working out, as I get very concious of being watched in a gym, or out running, so I don't do either of these things. So, consequently, I'm not happy with my weight, (I mean honestly, I can't name a single girl who is categorically 'happy' with their weight in some sense of the word or other) and I also remembered that when I owned a Nintendo Wii, back when they first came out, that I had a few different games for working out (I adored the boxing on Wii Sports) but times changed and I needed the money, so I sold it. And you know those times when you think, 'Why did I do that?' well recently I've been doing that a lot about my Nintendo Wii, and know I was at a much happier weight when I worked out with it, in the privacy and comfort of my own home. I don't exactly enjoy being picky about my weight, or where I choose to work out, or how often I choose to work out, but sometimes you just can't change these things, no matter what frame of mind you're in. So, after selling yet another of my My Little Pony's, I decided to look at wii prices. I found one online second hand for £40 with everything I needed, minus some of the work out games, so I bought it and I'm now waiting for it to arrive. I really can't wait for it to get here, it's more excitement that I could do with, it's going to be great. Of course, I did buy a few games too for 'downtime' because you can't own a game console solely for the purpose of working out. So I ordered Tomb Raider Underworld (because who didn't love playing that in the 90s?), The Golden Compass (The game of the film, and my goodness it's exquisite, I completed it when I had my previous Wii), and lastly I purchased Rise of the Guardians (a childish choice, but it's me who's going to be playing it with some friends, and I loved that film, even if some of you didn't, of course meant in the best way possible!) I also owned an Xbox 360 with Kinnect when I was 16 as it was a present from a family member, but it soon just got in the way so it was sold. Besides, it's got some more violent games than the Wii, and I'm a softy at heart, and love the kiddy-style games. I don't like blowing people's heads off with guns, I'd rather be catching legendaries, fighting bad guys, and solving puzzles. That's more my style.

I know I won't regret my decision, it's just that, judging what is more important: saving for appropriate lighting or buying a wii so that I can lose some weight is quite a tricky decision. Don't get me wrong, this is not a moan, more of a 'do you ever feel the same?' post. It's the fact that I know my lighting is what is holding me back on YouTube, and I can't rely on this inefficient natural lighting anymore, but not having the funds to change it. I guess it works that way for everything!

So I wanted to say that as soon as I have the money to get decent lighting, I will definitely be doing so.

BEING MORE TRUE TO MYSELF // CELEBRATING 300 SUBSCRIBERS.

So this post is I guess, rather personal. I reached 300 subscribers two days ago, and haven't said anything because once someone hits a round number, several people like to jump the bandwagon (there were 301, but someone jumped the bandwagon!) so I just wanted to say a huge thank you to those of you who have stayed for so long with me on my blogging and YouTube journey. I truly am grateful, and blessed to have such a lovely bunch of friends (I can call you that now, can't I?)
It's quite amazing that it's come this far since starting my blog in June 2013, and YouTube on the 29th September 2013, and although it's been barely anytime at all, the benefits are already showing, with a larger following that before, so thank you, you 300 YouTube subscribers, 30 google+ followers, you 15 twitter followers, and you 53 instagram followers. I am so overwhelmed by the numbers, which to anyone else would appear minimal and probably non-important, but I find it incredible, and every new subscriber gets their own celebration in my house!
Due to realising that people do seem to like me for who I am, and what I do, I've decided to be more true to myself, and I've made my blog and YouTube themes and layout more appropriate to that, the colours are my favourite colours, my favourite fonts, and some of my favourite photos, and I've worked very hard to get my blogs up to the sort of standard I'd like to hope you guys enjoy.
I've posted some images below that I find inspirational, and some of which, are my own, so if you use them, please credit me as the photographer. I don't mind you using them if you credit me.

So I guess that's my own personal way of thanking you, it's the best a girl can do.
I am very excited as I ordered a copy of each of the Eragon book series. I know their old, but I really wanted to read them when I was younger, and still do, so I ordered all the books on amazon, I ordered Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance. I also ordered the DVD of Eragon. It's so sad that they never made a follow up film, since it was deliberately left so open ended, but according to reviews, it did very poorly in the box office, so a follow up was never made. *Heart broken* I have to say, personally, I adored the film, and was desperate for a follow up. Just a random update of why I am so cheerful today!

I also forgot, as a later edit: this is my 50th post, how appropriate, woohoo!

Thank you, again, for being you, and supporting me.
