I BECAME A MERMAID TONIGHT.

So....I kind of did a thing tonight.....

So after missing my blue ombre, I decided tonight to revert back! Not sure how long it'll stay this time but I love it.

Moodiest mermaid y'all ever met.

Thanks Stitch, my old hair and Markiplier's galaxy hair for inspiring me :P

MY WEEK IN REVIEW.

This week has been surprisingly good, I only had half of one day this week where I felt really unhappy for no particular reason, but I managed to get outside and sit in the sunshine by the sea, and that made me feel instantly happier.

So this week, I've had a relatively positive week: I got a great grade in my module that finished recently at university, so that really helped me feel more confident in myself, I lost some weight just by being a little more thoughtful with what I eat, and eating regular healthy meals (guacamole, you saviour!), and I've gotten into drinking lemon tea again which aids weight loss in my experience, helps nails and hair to grow longer, stronger and more beautiful. No, I'm not paid to say that either.

And, very soon, very, very soon, we are jetting off to Disneyland! We leave the UK on Wednesday and fly out to Paris, get settled into our hotel, then Thursday and Friday get the whole two days to have fun, and explore and buy PLENTY of souvenirs. I feel a Disney Haul coming on, and maybe a few other Disney related videos ;)

I hope you are all well, and having a great week. Remember, you are all special, and mean a lot to me.

THANK YOU // A MESSAGE REGARDING MY LATEST YOUTUBE VIDEO.

I'm just reposting this from my Instagram, and extending a bit:

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your support after yesterday's video, seriously, you are amazing, and kind and sweet, so thank you to everyone for their kind words. I know each of us struggle on a daily basis with some demon or other, but I wanted to remind you, that it does get better, and it WILL get better. Most of my unhappiness in that video (filmed over a week ago) stemmed from a hormonal balance created by PCOS, you can read about the condition here: http://www.nhs.uk/…/Polycystic-ovar…/Pages/Introduction.aspx (I've also written a blogpost about it sometime last year, just type PCOS into the search box on the right hand side, in the sidebar), so I believe that my very infrequent bouts of unhappiness (I want to avoid using the term depression since I truly experienced that after my grandmother died) stems from the hormonal imbalance caused by that condition. It correlates with "that time of the month" when I get to my lowest point, and I think that I have greatly improved these last few months. Settling into uni was horrible, new place, new people, far from home and that did cause me to lose my mind for a bit, but now, whilst still not entirely happy with it, I am making do. Love to you all, and remember, it does get better. I promise.

I've honestly been astounded at the amount of people reaching out to me, offering support, kind words, and sharing similar stories. I am blessed to have such a supportive following, and I am thankful for you all, every single day. ♡

All my love,

MY LIFE IN 20 QUESTIONS // TAG

So I decided today that I wanted to write a new blog post, and I wanted to help you get to know me a bit better now that there are a little over 800 of you in #teamtgcf, our Ohana, over on YouTube. That's big. that's really, really, big, and I'm so proud of all of you, and of my channel, for being a place where you can all watch my videos, relax, hopefully have a laugh or maybe even learn something new, and I love that.

1. What’s your favourite colour?
Blue. It used to be baby blue, but I love all shades of blue as an adult.
2. What’s your favourite number?
Honestly? I don't have a "favourite number", and I never have.
3. What is your dream career?
Blogging and YouTube. Original, I know. I'd love to write a book and I do have a lot of ideas in mind, since I study English as a degree, it seems a little more possible now.
4. Where do you see yourself living when you’re on your own?
Honestly? I don't know. I'm not sure if I'll stay where I've grown up and am currently, or if I'll move to a larger city. I am tempted to live in London, but I'd need a comfortable career first for that to become a reality. I'm also attracted to the idea of living in Edinburgh.
5. Where is your favourite place to travel?
Well, I've only been to France, and Barbados in my lifetime, and out of those, obviously Barbados has been my favourite. I'm travelling to Disney Land Paris in 12 days so I'm very excited about that.
6. What do you do in your free time?
Mainly creating content for my YouTube channel, watching my favourite YouTubers, playing a bit of PS3 here and there if I feel like it (I've been loving Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception lately)
7. Favourite clothing stores?
ASOS. Sounds odd I know, but I have taken a disliking to shopping in stores in person recently, the shops I go to never have things I like any more, and it's been this way since Spring last year, so I just browse ASOS and tend to buy about 80% of my clothes there now.
8. Dream car?
Mint green Fiat 500. I've held my drivers licence for 3 years and not driven during that time due to how expensive it is.
9. What TV shows can’t you live without?
None. I could happily move somewhere now if I could afford it and live without a TV licence and just use the TV for YouTube on my PS3.
10. 3 things (more like people) you need in your life are…
Mum, Courtney, and I don't know, she's not a "human" but Gu, because I adore her.
11. I can’t sleep without…?
My pyjamas. Honestly, I would NEVER sleep naked. No no no no no.
12. If you were given 1 million dollars all for yourself what would you do with it?
Buy myself a studio apartment with big windows and clean white walls, a mint green fiat 500 and go travelling. I'd also donate a considerable sum to a cat's rescue and adoption centre that does great work and needs more donations because CATS ARE LIFE.
13. I have a celebrity crush on…?
...*cough*...
14. What is your favourite treat to eat?
Oh god why. I shouldn't be answering this question... Doughnuts, FRAZZLES (when it's that time of the month, god only knows why), and chocolate, but I try to avoid all of these at all costs. I'm very weight conscious
15. My favourite wild animal is…
... Not sure, pheasants? Scottish wildcats? I like plenty of animals.
16. What is your favourite season?
Autumn, I think.
17. My favourite childhood shows were…
LILO & STITCH although to watch the series you had to have Sky I think, so I only ever watched it when I was at my friends house.
18. Why did you start making YouTube videos?
I've said it before but I'll say it again, I started in June 2013 to find myself and a place on the internet to express myself.
19. What do you hold close to your heart?
Success and hope. Sounds weird but I believe I can be successful, and I'm determined to be.
20. What is one music artist that you are in love with?
None. I don't "Love" any music artist. I appreciate music, but I'm not in love with a music artist.

DOWN BY THE WATERSIDE // OOTD.

Today, my mum and I decided to go for lunch at a place that holds a lot of important memories for us. It was one of the places where we would go with my grandma for lunch, watch the sailboats chasing each other's tails in the wind, and the row boats plough through the currents whilst enjoying a peaceful meal.

I took my camera and asked my mum to take some blog photos for me, and I'm glad to say she was kind enough to be my photographer for today.

And yes, these are my professionally done nails that need a new coat of paint which I'll get done in about 10 days time...!
Camel Coat with Fur Trim (faux): Boohoo
Grey Polo Neck Top: ASOS
Black Skinny Jeans: ASOS
Black Leather Bag: ASOS
Blue Pom Pom: Topshop
Rings: All gemstone rings are from Rose Garden Waterfall, the antler ring is from Chxrmed Jewellery
Sunglasses: Quay Australia

We had a really relaxing afternoon and mum is off out tonight whilst I chill at home. (Should be the other way around I know haha, but I have a reason: I'm saving all my money, because in 18 days, I am GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!!)

I am over the moon. I haven't been abroad since I was 14 on a school trip, and now at last, my friend Adam and I (who I went to the live music and drinking evenings with all throughout the Summer as we're old college friends, and will just clarify: JUST FRIENDS, kinda brother-sister friends!) are going to Disneyland in 18 DAYS!!!

I'm so excited I just can't contain myself.

Love,

MY WEEK IN REVIEW.

This past week has definitely had it's ups and downs.

The weekend was extremely difficult for me. Things had piled up on me emotionally, and I ended up shutting myself away, and everything just got a bit much.

This carried through to Monday, and yesterday (Tuesday) and I struggled to go to uni yesterday. I made it in thankfully, and cheered up gradually, but I didn't manage to make it in on Monday. I haven't had such a bad weekend emotionally in quite some time, but hey, life comes with it's ups and downs, you have to take the good with the bad. It's important to remember that.

On Sunday, when things hit rock bottom, I filmed a very brutally honest video that will go live on my channel on the 13th of March (unless my planned uploads swap around again, as it was initially planned it'd go live on the 16th...) I decided that I'd take my mind off things and run a nice hot bath (which was luke warm, I think the gas company need to sort that out... either that or I don't love baths unless they're as hot as the inner core of the Earth...) but I decided to try my beautiful Lush Ltd "Lover Lamp" bath bomb, and oh boy, I felt like most of my anxieties melted away with the glittery red bath melt hearts. I felt like my soul had been warmed through, and I felt oddly content watching the fizzy white water whirl around my legs. It is one of my favourite bath bombs for sure. Whilst Intergalactic reigns supreme in first place, The Golden Wonder in second, and Lord of Misrule third, Lover Lamp probably jossles for the prized third place with LoM. The clementine and vanilla oil scent sent me drifting to a place of supreme tranquility. It's a shame it's a Valentines day limited edition bomb, but it did make it even more of a luxury, and I felt extremely loved and pampered using it, something I definitely needed.

Another good thing was taking inspiration from some photographs of Kiera Rose on her Instagram, beautiful close up photographs of her which were just stunning. I wanted to create something similar, as my trademark display picture for all of my social media accounts over the past month has been a rather poor quality iPhone 5s picture, so I wanted something a little extra special, taken on my beautiful new camera (which I also use for filming) and I was delighted with the clean black and white contrast images that I created.

I also rediscovered a song that Lily Melrose used in one of her videos a long time ago, but never could find the name of it, however, upon returning to the video (god bless the comments section) someone had found out the name of it and commented it, so I've been listening to it on repeat today whilst I wrote my university reflective piece.
Another positive was having my nails professionally done for the first time ever. I'd never had acrylics done and had always admired my friend Dominique's nails (hi Dom if you're reading haha) and I finally took the plunge and got mine done in a beautiful Opi colour (which from research I've concluded must be from the Swimsuit collection called "Nailed it") but I love them. I then realised they match my bus pass, and also Markiplier's hair (when it was blue). The same day I had my nails done, I'd had my hair trimmed and freshened up by my hairdresser in the morning, and it feels and looks so much nicer now. Overall, that was a wonderful day.

I hope you're all having a better start to your week!
